Recently, I decided to try out some products from the brand Glossier. You may have heard of Glossier through their vigorous and rather successful social media marketing campaign. On their website, they describe themselves as, "a people-powered beauty ecosystem." According to the former The Hills star and Glossier CEO, Emily Weiss, Glossier is the answer to the current "flawed traditional beauty paradigm." The brand focuses on enhancing natural beauty, rather than creating artificiality. All Glossier's products are also cruelty-free, which is a huge plus. Since I just wanted to dip my toes into the Glossier makeup trend, I only bought three products. Keep reading to find out about whether I will order more items or not!

I placed in my order Wednesday evening and the package arrived the following Monday afternoon. If you choose to order from Glossier, you will open the package to find an adorable pink box and a free pack of Glossier stickers. Adorable. Each item is wrapped in an individual package and placed inside of a reusable pink bubble wrap cosmetic case. You do not receive a packing slip or receipt, as all details can be accessed online.
1. Boy Brow, $16
I am beyond obsessed with this product. When I was looking up what Glossier products to purchase, I came across a video where a Youtuber (I forget who) said that if there was one product you should get from Glossier, this was it. I couldn't agree more. However, I'm not saying that this is going to work for everyone. I honestly think that one of the reasons why I like this product is because I have naturally thick brows. I don't have to do much with them. I've never waxed them before and I pluck and trim them myself. Before Boy Brow, I used my Anastasia Brow Pencil in Dark Brown to fill in some of the slightly sparse areas and give them more definition. Now, on days where I don't want to try as hard, I can just use Boy Brow (in black) and trust that it'll keep my brows in place.
2. Cloud Paint, $18
One of the reasons why I love cream blushes is that they are so user-friendly. A little goes along way, just be careful because the packaging makes it a little to easy to grab too much. I highly recommend Dusk as a great everyday color that can also be used as a contour. It's the only shade that is bronze toned. However, if your skin is slightly darker than mine, the shade might not show up as well. It's fairly subtle, but that's why I like it so much!
3. Balm Dotcom, $12
I don't know why, but I struggle SO MUCH with chapped lips. It's so terrible, you have no idea. It isn't abnormal for my lips to bleed because they are so dry. It's disgusting and annoying, and I am constantly looking for lip products to aid me and my dilemma. To be completely honest, drinking water is the cure, but sometimes I suck at that and need a little help from my friend(s)- lip balm. So many products have let me down in the past (eos, vaseline, burt's bees to name a few popular ones), so I have to be careful. I'm a huge fan of Smith's Rosebud Salve ($6) and it works pretty well, but I figured that I would try something new. So far, I like balm dotcom but it's nothing revolutionary- at least not yet. It does the same thing as my rosebud salve, and it's a little more expensive at $12. I do, however, really like the subtle red tint that comes with the cherry flavor. Maybe it'll take some time for me to see the positive effects!

I can't wait to try out more Glossier products! Much love & see you next time.
